1. Stop Marshawn Lynch
The Seahawks team is built around using the running game to control the ball and scoring just enough points for the defense to hold the opponent to a low score. That makes the key offensive piece the running back Marshawn Lynch, everyone’s favorite loose cannon. If the Panthers front seven can keep Lynch below four yards a carry, then the Seahawks offense will sputter. If the Panthers could somehow build a lead, that would make Seattle all but one dimensional.
Lynch is coming off an injury, but if he does not go the Seahawks had no problem putting the ball in the hands of rookie Thomas Rawls last week against Cincinnati. Not sure this is the game the Panthers wanted to throw Luke Kuechly into right away. On the other hand, they might need him.
