Oct 3, 2015; Atlanta, GA, USA; North Carolina Tar Heels quarterback Marquise Williams (12, center) celebrates with running back Elijah Hood (34) and offensive tackle John Ferranto (77) after Williams

The North Carolina Tar Heels went and beat a good Georgia Tech team in Atlanta, which has not happened in years. They did on a strong game from Marquise Williams, but the story of the game was the defense and how it stepped up in the second half. The Tar Heels came back from a three score deficit to obtain a (1-0) conference record so far. They get a bye this week and then Wake Forest next week.

The NC State Wolfpack knew that they would lose sometime. They just did not expect it to be Louisville at home. The Pack have to regroup to take on the wounded Hokies. The State running game disappeared in the rain after having fantastic success the previous four weeks. The Hokies will probably try to do the same thing, so more responsibility falls on the shoulders of Jacoby Brissett. The reason they did not fall further is because South Carolina seems to be a worse loss than Louisville to this point.
