The matchup of spread versus power ended up being a showcase for power. The Midshipmen got more than a hundred yards from quarterback Keenan Reynolds and fullback Chris Swain. Reynolds, a dark dark horse Heisman guy, scored five times during the game. Meanwhile the Pirate offense could not get on track early though Blake Kemp did end up with more than three hundred yards passing. Isaiah Jones had 130 yards receiving. Tough start to the conference season for the Pirates.
