DEFENSE!! NC State moves to 2-0
Tonight NC State whipped Eastern Kentucky 35-0 with excellent play on both sides of the ball.
On this night NC State’s defense reigned supreme. Dave Doeren and his Wolfpack football team clad in black jersey, black pants and helmets played their best defensive game of the young season. For at least one-quarter, the visiting Eastern Kentucky Colonels did as well. Though not quite as impressive, the Colonels were able to keep the Pack off the scoreboard in the first quarter. Eastern Kentucky only managed to gain 10 yards on 9 plays for a paultry 1.1 yards per play. The night would not get much better for the Colonels.
