The two young defensive ends (Kony Ealy and Frank Alexander) stunk it up

My biggest fear is becoming a reality. The Panthers may be stuck this year without a rushing attack that is effective. Kony Ealy and Frank Alexander were terrible in the preseason opener and got pushed around by the Buffalo Bills offensive line. Matter of fact little know Rakim Cox went out there and out did both of them. I think Cox should get the nod as the defensive starter opposite of Charles Johnson next preseason game to show off what he can do against first team offensive linemen. At the very least Cox starting could motivate Ealy and Alexander to play with more toughness and energy. Neither Ealy nor Alexander deserved first team reps after what I seen last night.
