ACC Media Days: Poll Split on NC teams
During ACC Media Days in Pinehurst, NC, the media released their poll for the upcoming season. While Clemson was the top pick of the Conference, the voting around the league was overall erratic. Even so, it did not favor the North Carolina schools as much as did last year.

First the League members voted NC State to finish fourth in the Atlantic Division and seventh overall in the conference. The Wolfpack are looking up at Florida State, Clemson, and Louisville again. Florida State will be trying to replace the leftover parts from their 2014 title. Clemson is growing into its second year quarterback DeShaun Watson so they have reason for optimism. Louisville will be looking to replace a number of veteran pieces on the offense. So Clemson might be safe from the Pack, but FSU and Louisville should keep their heads up or State might catch them.
Wake Forest returns as the low man in the Atlantic totem pole this year. Until the offense proves itself, it is unlikely to move from that spot. Year 2 could be a good year for Coach Clawson if the Deacs are taken too much for granted.

First place votes were tossed around everywhere in the league. Nine of the twelve teams received at least one first place vote. Most of those teams reside in the Coastal Division which has played close the past few years. Duke and North Carolina both received four first place votes each, so that somebody likes the chances on Tobacco Road.
Duke was still picked fourth in the division and eighth overall, right behind State. The Tar Heels were right behind Duke as fifth in the Coastal and ninth overall in the league. The teams ahead of them are Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, and Miami. The Coastal should be just as wide open as it normally is, and the media favorite has not done well in recent years.
