FOX REGION

3 Seed JAKE DELHOMME over 1 Seed John Fox

This may seem counterintuitive, but this is a one off situation. Delhomme excelled at one off situations. Also consider that Fox never had a winning season when Delhomme was not his quarterback. When Delhomme was the man, the team managed three playoff runs with one ending in the Super Bowl. Remember that Delhomme would have been the MVP of that game if the Panthers had won.

RIVERA REGION

1 Seed CAM NEWTON over 2 Seed Luke Kuechly

Newton wins out over Kuechly if only because the team has fully relied on Newton at times. This has been especially true last year when injuries devastated the running game of the Panthers. The Rivera Panthers will only go as far as Newton takes them. This sets things up for three 1 seeds in the Final Four and a matchup of the two latest good Panther quarterbacks.
