Rivera Region: 5 Seed Thomas Davis vs 12 Seed Graham Gano

Fifth Seed – Thomas Davis

Thomas Davis was a large safety at Georgia. He was drafted to be the spy on Michael Vick. He has had knee injuries that would end most careers. He has proved himself, played at a high level, gotten hurt, and had to do it all again. These recent seasons have been the good years for Davis, which is why he is here and not in the Fox region. Our hopes were once on a fellowship of Beason and Davis, now they are on Kuechly and Davis, but they have always included Davis.

Twelfth Seed – Graham Gano

Kickers. You have one or you do not. The Panthers had one for a long time in John Kasay, which set a high standard. Gano may not be that good, but it isn’t because he is lacking the leg. The Panthers don’t have to scratch their head at field goal time, which is a good thing.
