Fox Region: 6 Seed Kris Jenkins vs 11 Seed Jonathan Stewart
Sixth Seed – Kris Jenkins
To power a tremendous defensive line, you need big space eaters like Jenkins. Jenkins was well into the three hundreds, but he could move too. He had seven sacks in his second season. Then he somehow worked the snap count on Donovan McNabb in the NFC Championship game and was in the Philly quarterbacks back pocket. Still a strange thing to see. Jenkins had weight troubles and injuries and ultimately left for the New York Jets in 2008.
Eleventh Seed – Jonathan Stewart
The bowling ball Oregon runner was drafted just as Panthers fans were getting used to the name DeAngelo Williams. No problem there, as Williams and Stewart became one of the best rushing tandems in the NFL. They both ran for over 1000 yards in 2009. Stewart is seen as the primary back now, so we will have to see what happens to his production when he gets the bulk of the work.
