Seventh Seed – Kerry Collins

The first draft pick of the franchise came after the Panthers traded down from two to five and extra picks. Collins was not thrown to the wolves initially until he was determined to be the best option on the team. Collins was established as the starter until drinking and other problems caused him to leave the team. He reformed with the Giants, and made the Super Bowl in the 2000-1 season.

Tenth Seed – Lamar Lathon

Pepper from the sack combo of him and Kevin Greene. His lone Pro Bowl season of 13.5 sacks was dominating. Unfortunately injuries stopped Lathon from continuing with that kind of success.
