After 5 months of basketball and all the thrills and frustration to boot, NC State will face Louisiana State University (22-10) in Pittsburgh, PA on Thursday, March 19, 2015. The NC State Wolfpack (20-13) is seeded #8 and will face the #9 seeded Tigers in the East Regional.

SEC tournament No. 4 seed LSU is coming off an overtime upset loss to the 13th-seeded Auburn Tigers 73-70 in the quarterfinals. NC State, similarly is coming off a disappointing 77-53 shellacking by #2 ranked Duke Blue Devils in the quarterfinals of the ACC Tournament. Both teams hope to regroup and rebound with a victory on Thursday.
Note: Anthony “Cat” Barber, who suffered a neck injury in the Duke game, has been cleared to play.
