FBS Preview: College Football Week 10
Week 10 of the College Football season allows us to welcome back all those guys who conveniently were on bye at the same time. Since the last time Duke played, the ACC Coastal tried its best to muddle itself even more as Georgia Tech beat Pitt and North Carolina beat Virginia. So here comes the College Football FBS Preview for week 10.
Saturday – 11/1
East Carolina Pirates (6-1) at Temple Owls (4-3)
Time: 12:00 PM
TV: ESPNEWS
The Pirates have spent three underperforming against AAC competition. Now they play the first team that might actually be able to do something about it. Temple has been impressive against any team not named Houston or Central Florida, East Carolina’s upper level AAC brethren.

Duke Blue Devils (6-1) at Pittsburgh Panthers (4-4)
Time: 12:00 PM
TV: ESPNU
Pittsburgh visited the land of the fumble of last week and lost to Georgia Tech by an enormous margin. Are they out of the Coastal race? Not at all. Duke will need to be careful going on the road and bring their best game with them. A win would give Pittsburgh a half game advantage over the Blue Devils in the division.
North Carolina Tar Heels (4-4) at Miami Hurricanes (5-3)
Time: 12:30 PM
TV: ACC Network
To Miami’s credit, they are currently the most consistently playing team in the ACC Coastal Division. Also they are coming two good performances off of wins against Cincinnati and Virginia Tech. Miami even beat Duke earlier this year. And yet the rules for any game that North Carolina plays states that the team who has the ball last wins. Keep that in mind, Miami.
North Carolina State Wolfpack (4-4) at Syracuse Orange (3-5)
Time: 3:00 PM
TV: RSN
Should we get the Pop Corn ready? This game has the potential to be a scoring fest, but this is a Syracuse team that held Clemson to 16 points last week. NC State, playing a slightly different Clemson roster, surrendered more than forty. My guess is that those results can be ignored. Let’s all go to the track meet.

Appalachian State Mountaineers (2-5) vs Georgia State Panthers (1-7)
Time: 3:30 PM
TV: ESPN3
The Appalachian State Mountaineers took down one of the Sun Belt’s lower tier teams two weeks ago and should be primed to do it again. Georgia State has endured a disappointing season and now they have to face App State off a bye week.
