Week 5 brought one big change to the power rankings. The spot at number three is no longer shared. East Carolina had the unique experience of not losing this past week, and they were on a bye. Everyone else took it in the chin, so the 2 through 6 spots will be decided by the quality of the loss. It could be said that no one earned the right to move up this week. Let’s hope next week brings better tidings.

With the Sun Belt Conference schedule now in full swing, each game becomes more important. If there was one to get, it would be this week against South Alabama at home.. (1-4)
