The event will last from 4:30 to 6:30 PM at Carter-Finley Stadium, and will also feature Wolfpack coaches and cheerleaders. Why even Mr. Wuf and Ms. Wuf will be there. No better way to spend an afternoon with your kids by introducing them to mascots that might well have eaten their grandmothers. I kid you State fans, you know I think a lot of you.
So come on out to Carter-Finley and meet these guys. Get something signed and take plenty of pictures. Particularly look for Florida transfer quarterback Jacoby Brissett, who was named to the Maxwell Watch list. State has been so quiet about this guy that they did not even bring him to Greensboro for ACC Media Days.

NC State should be in for a bounce back season that will generate more wins if not more style than last year. The second year of the Coach Dave Doeren era will mean that players are more comfortable with the offensive system. Eventually Doeren’s own recruits, who will likely be selected with the system in mind, will take over in a couple of years.
For now, State will play Louisville in conference and not Maryland. Of course there is always the big rivalry game with the Tar Heels down the road, and also the chance to ruin Florida State’s season. Or Clemson’s. And certainly Wake’s.
