There are a couple things to notice. First there are no NC State or Wake Forest players on the list. Second there is only one Tar Heel, Ryan Switzer, on the list. Switzer was All-America as a returner last year and certainly belongs.

On the other hand there are several Duke players. This should be no surprise to anyone who kept up with preseason award watch lists. Tomlinson, Crowder, Brown, and Cash were all on multiple preseason watch lists.

The list as a whole still reflects the dominance of Florida State, who has people everywhere on it. It is a compliment to Duke that they had the second most.
