Cam Newton, Luke Kuechly Still In Running For Madden NFL 15 Cover

Cam Newton and Luke Kuechly advanced to the final eight in the voting brackets to determine the player who will be featured on the cover of the new Madden NFL 15 video game.

Newton and Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman were the top two vote getters in the contest, while Kuechly received more votes than Demaryius Thomas (Denver Broncos wide receiver) and will square off with San Francisco quarterback Colin Kaepernick in the next round of voting.

Newton is up against Kansas City running back Jamaal Charles in the next round.

The next wave of voting is underway, and the “winner” will be revealed during a live show of ESPN’s SportsCenter on Friday, June 6
