Four-star wide receiver recruit, Trevion Thompson, is just a little over a week past his visit to the University of North Carolina. And apparently still rather impressed with the Tar Heels.

North Carolina’s history with Tompson goes back several months. He first attended the Tar Heels football camp in July of 2012. In September and October of 2013 and then earlier this month for the UNC v. Duke game, he made unofficial visits to campus. Back in January he attended the Tar Heels Junior Day.

Despite all of the interests and his impression after his most recent visit, there is no word from Thompson on if the Tar Heels have moved higher up on his list or not. In top choices are currently Clemson, Florida, Ohio State,  and West Virginia. He has received an offer from those four schools as well as North Carolina.

In addition to those five schools he has offers extended from Duke, NC State, Notre Dame, Purdue, South Carolina, Vanderbilt, and Virginia Tech.

In a few recent interviews Thompson made it clear he was going to be very patient with his recruitment and would not rush a decision. It seems this could be a recruit that waits until Signing Day to announce his college choice.
