Despite such a strong season with big wins and performances, the Duke Blue Devils will have to settle for a No. 2 seed in the Midwest bracket.

Not winning either or both the ACC regular season or the tournament championships, kept the Blue Devils out of the No. 1 seed contention. The loss to Maryland in the second round of the conference tournament also killed the moment and their resume.

No. 2 Duke will kick things off against Albany in the first round. Easily, they should move on to the second round, but of course there are some fans that would like to remind them of Lehigh last season. Who by the way is now sitting in the third tier post-season tournament.

Duke will play the winner of Creighton vs. Cincinnati in round two. Both of those schools could give Duke trouble in the tournament.

The Blue Devils must also keep their eyes on No. 1 Louisville and No. 3 Michigan State. Louisville is the No. 1 overall seed in the tournament and finished their season off very strong.

If Oregon or New Mexico State make it deep enough, they could also give Duke some trouble.

On my personal bracket, I have Duke bowing out to Michigan State in the Sweet Sixteen. What about your bracket?
