Over the weekend, Randle and his high school team won the private school state championship in Texas. In 2011, he averaged 21.1 points per game.

Randle is six feet, nine inches tall and weighs 250 pounds. He is a five star power forward and is the number one players in the recruiting class including in the state of Texas and at his position.

Duke, Indiana, North Carolina, Ohio State, and Oklahoma State all made pitches for Randle’s services, but were eventually crossed of his list. Both North Carolina and Duke pursued him heavily, and seemed to be in the running for him for a while, but that obviously changed when Randle announced his list of six schools.
