North Carolina head coach Larry Fedora has yet to secure a running back in the 2014 recruiting class, but could be getting very close to landing one in the near future.

Easley, South Carolina native CJ Fuller has received two offers. One from Clemson University and another from the University of North Carolina.

The 5’10”, 190 pound running back is leaning slightly towards committing to the Clemson Tigers, but says that he is looking forward to his visit to Chapel Hill on February 23rd.

Fuller has a great connection already established with the coaching staff in Clemson where he grew up just minutes away. He hopes the trip to Chapel Hill will see him connect well with the Tar Heel coaching staff and also hopes to learn how he would fit in.

Fuller is a running back but can also play as a cornerback but says that when he goes to college wants to play as a running back. The success of AJ Blue and Romar Morris could be a factor in Fuller’s decision too. If both players stay after this season that will leave a backfield full of running backs with no playing time available for Fuller.
