Duke Basketball: Blue Devils Take A Hit In Top 25 Polls
Saturday did not go according to plans for the No. 2 Duke Blue Devils when the traveled to Maryland. They went in with high hopes after defeating in-state rivals North Carolina on Wednesday night, but Saturday was an entirely different story as the Terrapins upset No. 2 Duke, 83-81.

As expected with any rank team that takes a loss, they lose in the AP and USA Today top-25 polls. Duke fell just four spots this week. They are now ranked as the sixth best team in the country behind Indiana, Miami, Gonzaga, Michigan State, and Florida.
San Diego State and Creighton were both dropped out of the USA Today Coaches Poll Top-25 after losses this week, while Oregon and Virginia Commonwealth join the top-25.
North Carolina State and North Carolina remain un-ranked this week despite victories this weekend. North Carolina has been un-ranked for several months now, but State has been ranked just a few weeks ago.
