UNC Football Recruiting: Elijah Hood Lists Top Five
Five-star athlete Elijah Hood (according to Rivals) has narrowed down his top school choices again. His new list is his “top five” but actually includes six schools. Hood has been a four-star recruit, but Rivals awarded him a fifth star just yesterday.

Remaining on his recruiting list is: Clemson, Georgia Tech, Michigan, North Carolina, Notre Dame, and Ohio State.
The Tar Heels are the only remaining in-state school to remain on the Charlotte native’s list.
His last visit to Chapel Hill was back in October when he witnessed Gio Bernard score the game winning touchdown against North Carolina State.
At six feet tall and two-hundred and twelve pounds, Hood’s size contribute to his speed and athleticism. As an athlete who can play in the linebacker and running back positions, this would be a huge pickup for Larry Fedora who has had success with in-state recruiting building a program around what many of the recruits call the North Carolina Dream Team.
In 2011, Hood rushed for 2,868 yards and forty-five touchdowns. In 2012 he rushed for 3,309 yards and scored forty-eight touchdowns.
Notre Dame is the favorite so far to land Hood. Clemson, North Carolina, and Ohio State are the next favorites according to 247Sports.com.
