Duke Basketball Recruiting: Trey Lyles visiting Kentucky Wildcats
One of the bona fide recruits in the 2014 basketball class, five-star Indianapolis power forward Trey Lyles is on an unofficial visit to the Kentucky Wildcats this weekend after recently taking visits to the rival Louisville Cardinals and another major hoops program in the Butler Bulldogs.

Heavily targeted by the Duke Blue Devils and many other basketball blue bloods, Lyles definitely deserves his five-star rating. He is a top five recruit in this class and is unquestionably the best recruit in the state of Indiana. The former Indiana Hoosiers commit is also rated by most analysts as the top power forward in the country, and only Syracuse Orange commit Chris McCullough has a case for being the better player.
Trey Lyles is being courted the hardest by the Kentucky Wildcats, which makes this visit even more noteworthy for college basketball fans of the programs that have offered Lyles. The Wildcats already have a commitment from my third-rated PF in the class, Karl Towns Jr., and a commitment from Lyles would give them a ridiculously talented pairing of top ten recruits.
The last time Lyles visited Kentucky was in October.
The Duke Blue Devils, Kentucky Wildcats, Butler Bulldogs, Michigan State Spartans, and Georgetown Hoyas have offered Lyles. Louisville, UNC, Syracuse, and Ohio State are four major hoops programs with interest in the five-star PF.
