Blue Devils Get Revenge Against Wolfpack: 98-85
It was round two for one of the Tobacco Road rivalries tonight as the North Carolina State Wolfpack (16-7, 5-5 ACC) traveled to Durham to play No. 4 Duke (20-2, 7-2 ACC). In January the Wolfpack upset then No.1 Duke in Raleigh, but tonight was an entirely different story.

In the first half the Blue Devils embarrassed the Wolfpack. From behind the arc, the Blue Devils continually put up points giving them a 58-37 point lead at halftime.
Mason Plumlee scored thirty points with nine rebounds. He played in all forty minutes of the game and defensively was a huge contributor as well.
The always on fire Seth Curry twenty-six points and four assists. He was ten for twelve from the free throw line.
"“For two teams that have key players out, what a performance by both teams,” Krzyzewski said. “That was ACC basketball tonight.”"
The Wolfpack struggled to get any shot to go into the basket in the first half. It seemed even when right under the basket nothing would drop in for a couple of points.
Richard Howell led the Wolfpack with twenty-three points and nine rebounds.
Tyler Lewis started in place of Lorenzo Brown tonight. He put up thirteen points and six assists.
The Battle of Tobacco Road continues next week when the North Carolina Tar Heels travel to Durham to play the Blue Devils.
