Carolina Hurricanes Power Past Maple Leafs: 4-1
The Staal Brothers are continuing to make a bigger and bigger impact for the Carolina Hurricanes (4-4-0) as they traveled up north to play the Toronto Maple Leafs (4-5-0).

Jordan Staal took part of the scoring spotlight away from his brother Eric when he scored his first goal for as a Carolina Hurricane.
"“It was nice to get a goal to get us going,” Jordan told ESPN. “As a Hurricane, it was nice to get that first one and hopefully many more after that.”"
In addition to the two goals (one each) from the Staal brothers, Justin Faulk and Patrick Dwyer also scored in the Hurricanes 4-1 victory over the Maple Leafs.

To go along with the strong offensive performance last night in Canada, Cam Ward put up a solid and outstanding defensive effort. He had forty-one saves last night.
Jeff Skinner had three assists last night in his contributions to their victory.
For the Maple Leafs, they are now 1-4 at home which is beginning to make people think and worry about the Maple Leafs.
The Hurricanes continue their road trip against the Ottawa Senators on Thursdays.
