N.C. State Football Recruiting: Wolfpack offer Braxton Berrios
2014 four-star athlete Braxton Berrios is one of the top ten recruits in the state of North Carolina, and he was offered yesterday on an unofficial visit to the school in his city. The North Carolina State Wolfpack offered Barrios, who is viewed as a best fit at the wide receiver position but can also excel as a running back. For Leesville Road as a junior, Berrios ran for 1,142 yards and 22 touchdowns to go with 766 receiving yards and ten TDs. A scoring machine, Berrios even tossed a passing touchdown for the Raleigh school.

N.C. State is in a good position to land Berrios early on, and the North Carolina Tar Heels, Virginia Tech Hokies, and South Carolina Gamecocks are also schools with offers that Berrios is looking closely at. The Clemson Tigers have not offered him, but the school to the south could very well become heavily involved in his recruitment with an offer. Duke, East Carolina, Wake Forest, Maryland, and Minnesota have also offered him. Oregon, Georgia, and Tennessee are three major programs with interest.
Braxton Berrios is easily one of the top 40 athletes in the class and one of the top 400 recruits overall as a lower-end four-star recruit. But the important thing is that he has earned all four stars, and it is clear that he is one of the top prospects in the state of North Carolina. That’s why the Tar Heels and Pack are going so hard after Berrios early on, and he also has a close eye on the two big football programs in South Carolina.
The offer from N.C. State is a big one in his recruitment, and they have quickly put themselves in a good position in Berrios’s recruitment early on.
