N.C. State Football Recruiting: Clemson Tigers offer George Campbell
The Clemson Tigers hosted a few recruits on unofficial visits, and they offered one North Carolina State Wolfpack target yesterday in elite 2015 wide receiver George Campbell. The East Lake High star received an offer just a day earlier from the Georgia Bulldogs on an unofficial visit to Athens, and he received yet another major offer on a travel north. Campbell is just a 2015 recruit, but the Tarpon Springs athlete has a sizeable list of major offers.

At the top of the list are in-state powers Florida State and Florida, as both schools are viewed by recruiting analysts early on as having a great chance at landing the prized Florida prospect. The ‘Noles have been keying in on Campbell closely, but there are several other major programs out of the state to have offered Campbell.
Michigan, Arkansas, Mississippi State, Ohio State, Vanderbilt, and in-state programs USF (Tarpon Springs is in the Tampa Bay area) and UCF have also offered Campbell. The Wolverines have hosted him on an unofficial visit, and they would love to land the elite WR/S (best fit on the offensive side of the ball).
We’ll see how Clemson stacks up with Campbell, but it looks like the ACC team with the best chance at landing Campbell is an in-state school in Florida State.
