Wright is six feet, two inches and two-hundred and five pounds and is a stellar safety with size and speed.
"“I’ve heard from State, Duke, UCLA, ECU, North Carolina, and Wake Forest,” Wright said back in September."
At that time, State had been recruiting him heavily, however since then, Tom O’Brien has been fired and Dave Doeren has been hired. Since then, North Carolina has slowly become his favorite it appears. According to 247sports.com, Wright is now leaning “warm” towards the Tar Heels while he is cool towards State and Duke.
If Randy Jordan can continue working hard, it appears that Wright very well could be one of Fedora’s next recruits for his 2014 recruiting class.
The Wilson, NC native had 89 tackles, 4 tackles for a loss, three interceptions, a forced fumble and two fumble recoveries in his 2012 high school season.
Wright has said that he has and continues to work on his open field tackles, a weakness that he admits he needs to work on. However his size, physicality, and athleticism really makes him a good fit for Fedora and his defensive scheme.
