Wake Forest Demon Deacons Football Recruiting: Tennessee offers Treyvon Paulk

The Tennessee Volunteers have offered a Wake Forest Demon Deacons, North Carolina Tar Heels, and East Carolina Pirates 2014 running back target in Treyvon Paulk. All three of those aforementioned North Carolina teams have offered Paulk, whose most recent SEC offer gives him four from the vaunted conference. By the way, Appalachian State has also offered the four-star RB.

The Maryland Terrapins, Mississippi Rebels, and Vanderbilt Commodores are three teams that Paulk is high on early on, and it will be interesting to see how Tennessee stacks up against them. USC, TCU, Kentucky, Western Kentucky, and Eastern Illinois have also offered the top 30 Georgia recruit. In-state program Georgia Tech and ACC power Clemson are two teams with interest in Paulk but have not offered yet.

UNC offered the Milton High standout in the summer, while Wake Forest, TCU, and the Vols offers are the three most recent for the top 30 running back in the 2014 class. Treyvon Paulk runs a 4.6 forty and is on the cusp of a fourth star.

The Volunteers are expected to have a very good chance at Paulk, because it sounds like he has a high amount of interest in the program. The 5’9″, 195 pound back is expected to visit the school next month, so it sounds like Tennessee is in a great position to perhaps even pick up an early offer from one of the more talented running backs in the nation.

UNC is the in-state school going the hardest after Paulk, with Wake Forest pressing the least for the top 30 running back’s services.
