Duke Football Recruiting: Blue Devils Score Tennessee LB
With the departure of Derek Dooley at Tennessee it comes by no surprise that recruits for the Vols are looking to move elsewhere without Dooley making the calls.

The Duke Blue Devils have now added another recruit. Highly ranked and recruited three start linebacker Dominic Zanca-McDonald.
Zanca-McDonald is from Lake Brantley High School in Altemonte Springs, Florida. He is 6 feet and one inch tall and weighs 240 pounds.
He had offers from Purdue, Florida International and Missouri.
ESPN writes that he is “very productive lining up as an ‘off’ linebacker and a defensive lineman playing with his hand in the dirt; is undersized for the defensive end position, however he has the size and athleticism for the outside linebacker position at the major level of competition… may need some time to perfect coverage skills. However, if a redshirt year isn’t deemed necessary, early playing time is a possibility.”
Duke now has 16 commits heading into next season. Zanca-McDonald is the first of the Vols to de-commit with the current coaching change.
