Bobcats Downed by Knicks, 100-98
Well, another day and another lose for the Charlotte Bobcats. This time time they played host to the New York Knicks and just narrowly lost the game after putting up a valiant effort. They would lose by two points, 100-98, and leave the arena 7-10 overall on the season.

Since matching last seasons total wins, Charlotte has lost five straight now.
Carmelo Anthony put up a solid first half effort for the Knicks, but after cutting his finger diving for a ball in the closing minutes, would sit out and watch JR Smith fill his void.
For the Bobcats Kemba Walker had 25 points and 11 rebounds. Walker has been very impressive this season and worked to keep the Bobcats in contention through out the game.
Charlotte was in contention to win the game despite a miss by Raymond Felton with 14 seconds left, but Michael Kidd-Gilchrist made a lazy pass that was intercepted by JR Smith who went down and scored the winning basket for New York.
Charlotte has a night off before traveling to take on John Henson and the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday! They are 5.5 games back in the division, but the season and still early and a comeback isn’t out of the question.
Maybe Michael Jordan should look to rebrand the team back to the Hornets now that it’s available!
