Duke Quarterback: Louisville Get Ready for an ACC Whoopin!
Duke’s backup quarterback, Anthony Boone, had a message for the Lousiville Cardinals last night after their Big East football championship victory on Twitter. Yes, a backup quarterback. Yes, a backup quarterback at Duke…had fighting words.

Louisville came back last night against Rutgers in order to win the 2012 Big East football championship. While spending most of the game behind, they fought hard to win the game in the end.
Duke’s Anthony Boone however, was not impressed. However, I think he should have played it smarter and kept his mouth shut. He hasn’t read up on his Duke/Louisville history. Fans on Twitter let him know after his message to the Cardinals on Twitter too.
He took to Twitter to send the following message to the Louisville football team…
These are strong words coming from a player who not only is a second string quarterback, but they’re coming from a second string player on a team that has refused to play Louisville in the past.
In 2008, the University of Duke pulled out of a contract to play the Cardinals because quite frankly, they were pathetic and tired of getting beat every year by the Cardinals.
I guess things have changed, the Duke is ready for their new conference rival!
