We take one last look at the Charlotte Hornets and their draft position after some trades went down right before the Draft.

For the Charlotte Hornets, things did not change much today. However the New York Knicks traded Jerian Grant, Robin Lopez, and Jose Calderon to Chicago for Derrick Rose and Justin Holliday. The Pacers reportedly traded for Jeff Teague of the Hawks while sending George Hill to the Jazz. The Jazz finished things up by sending the 12th pick to Atlanta.

That means a reshuffling of the late lottery. At the same time certain prospects are on the rise and that also has been noted here.

1. Philadelphia 76ers

93. I still don’t like the idea of the 76ers giving up on <strong><a href=. SF. LSU. Ben Simmons . 1. player

2. Los Angeles Lakers

Brandon Ingram . 2. player. 20. There is a lot of talk about Kentucky combo guard Jamal Murray moving up the draft boards into the highest spots. Call me skeptical. Ingram is the number two player in this draft and the Lakers would be dumb to pass on him.. SF. Duke

3. Boston Celtics

18. Boston can’t be happy with staying in this spot. There is lots of talk about the Celtics moving this pick or any of their picks. Assuming they can’t, Bender offers the most upside to their roster.. PF. Israel. Dragan Bender . 3. player

4. Phoenix Suns

66. So far this mock draft looks just like the first one only with Simmons and Ingram swapping places. I still see no reason not to grab Brown here as the Suns have multiple picks and can afford flexibility. SG. California. Jaylen Brown . 4. player

5. Minnesota Timberwolves

86. The Timberwolves have their inside scoring presence, they have their slasher from the wing, and they have their point guard. The best supplement they can give them is shooting even if Hield is likely to come off the bench behind <strong><a href=. SG. Oklahoma. Buddy Hield . 5. player

6. New Orleans Pelicans

Jamal Murray . 6. player. 69. The thing that depresses Murray’s value to me is the number of players that sort of do the things he does. The Suns have Bledsoe. The T-Wolves have LaVine. The Pelicans may lose <strong><a href=. SG. Kentucky

7. Denver Nuggets

player. 73. The rise of Chriss continues. According to reports by Gary Parrish, Chriss will not fall below the Nuggets or Kings pick. That alone was not enough to justify redoing the entire mock draft. PF. Washington. Marquese Chriss . 7

8. Sacramento Kings

67. Let <strong><a href=. PG. Providence. Kris Dunn . 8. player

9. Toronto Raptors

9. player. 81. Flexibility is a must for a non-center big man these days. Poeltl comes in and fills either big man spot depending on the lineup you want to run. Could also make Biyombo expendable. PF. Utah. Jakob Poeltl

10. Milwaukee Bucks

PF. Michigan State. Deyonta Davis . 10. player. 89. Need a rugged presence down low. <strong><a href=

11. Orlando Magic

11. player. 38. An adjustment from the promotion of Chriss into the top ten. Labissiere has also been a riser on some draft boards. The Magic will still probably look big at this pick.. PF. Kentucky. Skal Labissiere

12. Atlanta Hawks

125. The Hawks are poised to make a trade that would send Jeff Teague to the Indiana Pacers while sending Utah’s 12th pick to them. Sabonis would allow them to let <strong><a href=. PF. Gonzaga. Domantas Sabonis . 12. player

13. Phoenix Suns

13. player. 66. Denied on Sabonis, the Suns take the next best big man available despite Ellenson and Sabonis having different games. PF-C. Marquette. Henry Ellenson

14. Chicago Bulls

SG. Michigan State. Denzel Valentine . 14. player. 24. The Bulls are looking at potentially losing <strong><a href=
