Yesterday we reported that the former Chicago Bears nickle back DJ Moore was visiting with the Carolina Panthers. Now, those talks are over and a physical has been complete. CJ Moore announced via twitter that he has signed a one year deal with the Panthers.

Last season he made thirteen appearances with twenty-nine tackles and two interceptions for the Chicago Bears.

Earlier this season Moore was informed that the team had no intentions of having him in their future. He was going to be a free agent regardless, but that just sealed his fate with Chicago for good.

During the off-season Carolina has released Chris Gamble and is struggling to agree to terms with Captain Munnerlyn. That put a high priority on the team signing DJ Moore. More than likely he will replace Munnerlyn at nickle back as the Panthers feel he is asking more than what they feel he is worth.

Moore is young and is only a four year veteran of the NFL and could use this new team to prove his talent.
