ACC Tournament 2013: Miami’s Julian Gamble’s Epic Videobomb

facebooktwitterreddit

Yesterday, the Miami Hurricanes defeated the North Carolina Tar Heels to win their first ever ACC Tournament championship. Also with the win, it marks the second season that the tournament title will go home to a school in Florida. Another historic mark to note is that this is just the second time in ACC history that a school from North Carolina has not won either the regular season or tournament championship.

After Miami’s win, ESPN found Miami’s head coach Jim Larranaga for an interview in the post-game celebration. During the interview, Larranaga was videobombed by one of is players, Julian Gamble, in what could be one of the most entertaining videobombs I’ve seen.

Coach Larranaga is excited and focused on the interview and then out of no where pops up a smiling and happy Juliun Gamble. His grin tells you he knew what he was doing back there to begin with. It’s a great laugh and arguable one of the best photo/videobombs I’ve seen.

SportsGrid.com says that they should have had a trophy to give Gamble for his photobomb. We agree!

The Hurricanes earned a No. 2 seed in the NCAA Tournament and will play Pacific in round one of the tournament.
