Boston College rolled over Georgia Tech yesterday in round one of the ACC Tournament. Now they will face the regular season champions and number one seeded Miami Hurricanes in round two.

The Eagles of Boston College after their round one victory are now 16-16 overall and 7-11 in the ACC. The Miami Hurricanes are 24-6 overall and 15-3 in the ACC.

The Eagles and Hurricanes have played twice already this season. Miami won both of those games. Boston College did nearly upset Miami back in January, but fell one point short.

If Olivier Hanlan can have another career high day, the Eagles could upset the No. 1 Hurricanes. However Kenny Kadji and Shane Larkin are just too tough to guard and Reggie Johnson’s presence in the paint is tough to get around.

Hanlan scored forty-one points against Georgia Tech yesterday. That was a career high and record for points scored by a rookie at Boston College.

This game has Miami written all over it, but the madness of March is all about upsets and Cinderella stories.
