He spoke highly of his visit to the NC State campus saying he enjoyed it. Hines seemed very interested in their facilities, even describing them as “unbelievable.” Hines said that Doeren and the staff are stressing the importance of in-state recruiting, a new philosophy introduced at rival school North Carolina when Larry Fedora took over the program last season.

Currently the six foot, one inch tall and 180 pound wide receiver from Charlotte Christian School has received eight offers. Currently North Carolina State and Nebraska are favorites and have a great shot at landing Hines. The other six offers are from: Ball State, Charlotte, East Carolina, Marshall, Massachusetts, and Ohio.

As a junior, least season Hines has 794 receiving yards and scored seven touchdowns. He also scored two rushing touchdowns and scored once on a kick return for the Charlotte Christian School. He is also a member of the school track team.

Hines is slated to be visiting Nebraska and Ole Miss in the next month. Many are expecting Hines to make a decision as early as April after his April 6th visit to Ole Miss. He will be in Nebraska on the 30th of March.
