Tulane v. East Carolina Preview

Tonight the East Carolina University Pirates will play the host to the Tulane Green Wave in Greenville.

Both teams are comping off of a loss: East Carolina was just defeated by Southern Miss and Tulane was beat by Tulsa. They also have eleven losses each, but the Green Wave have two more wins then the Pirates

The Pirates sit fifth in the Conference-USA conference standings with a 16-11, 7-7 CUSA record. They’re one game ahead of Tulane who is 18-11, 6-8 CUSA. Both teams are in the middle of the conference standings and well out of contention to win the conference regular season title.

Maurice Kemp leads the Pirates in scoring with a season average of twenty points per game. Robert Sampson leads the team in rebounds with nine per game. Miguel Paul leads ECU in assists average 6.6 per game.

For the Green Wave, Josh Davis leads in both points scored and rebounds. He averages 17.2 points per game and 10.2 rebounds per game.
