David Cutcliffe has been praised for his efforts and results in turning around a miserable Duke Blue Devils football program. He has already begun to work in his 2014 recruiting class, but things just got tougher.

The LSU Tigers reached out yesterday to Gallatin, Tennessee wide reciever, Josh Malone. They join a list of over twenty schools including Duke to make a scholarship offer.

Those other schools who have made an offer include: Notre Dame, Ohio State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Baylor, Colorado State, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Lousiville, Memphis, Miami, Michigan, Mississippi State, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ole Miss, Oregon State, South Florida, Tulane, Washington, Washington State, and Western Kentucky.

Malone is a four-star wide receiver. He is six feet and two inches tall. He weighs 190 pounds and can run a 40 in 4.43 seconds.

His speed and athleticism will bring him success regardless of where he chooses to play football and will keep schools and coaches looking at him.

He is said to be leaning heavily towards Notre Dame at this point, but is no where near making a decision on where he will play college football, so the Blue Devils still have a shot at him!
