Four-star offensive tackle David Sharpe is beginning to turn heads his way. The North Carolina Tar Heels target finally is beginning to see the attention he deserves. The Jacksonville, Florida high school junior picked up to in-state offers this month.

Jimbo Fisher and the Florida State Seminoles were first to make their pitch to Sharpe when they extended their offer on February 19th.

The Florida Gators just days later also made a scholarship offer to Sharpe.

Sharpe is leaning heavily towards both of the in-state schools in is recruiting process, but isn’t near making a decision.

In addition to the Tar Heels, Gators, and Seminoles, he has received offers from: Duke, Georgia, Georgia Tech, and Liberty University.

However, it should be noted that Sharpe has no interest in Liberty. With a four-star rating at six feet, seven inches tall and 275 pounds of athleticism, who can blame a kid this talented for being interesting in a football program that will win and compete for championships.

Larry Fedora and the North Carolina Tar Heels were the first of the seven schools mentioned above to make an offer for Sharpe. It will more than likely be months down the road before Sharpe makes a decision on where he will play collegiate football.
