The Duke Blue Devils have been used to welcoming the nation’s best high school basketball players each and every Fall to Durham. 2014 is a year that Coach K and the Devils don’t plan to have it any other way.

Head coach Mike Krzyzewski according to the DukeReport.com has made an offer to class of 2014 shooting guard Devin Booker.

Booker is a four-star guard from Moss Point, Mississippi. He stands at six feet and five inches tall and weighs 185 pounds. He ranks twenty-second in the nation and third in position and is heavily recruited by some power house basketball programs.

Booker’s top five interests are Florida, Duke, Michigan, Missouri, and Michigan State with a heavy interest in the Gators.

Tom Izzo and the Spartans have yet to extend an offer to Booker at this time, but he did visit the campus earlier this month.

Coach Krzyzewski’s offer came over the weekend after Booker visited both North Carolina and Duke campuses. This was his second visit to Durham just this month. Coach K made the pitch during his visit on campus.
