2014 three-star tackle Christian Taylor is one of the top 50 tackle prospects in this recruiting class, and he will be attending junior days north of the border with the North Carolina State Wolfpack and the North Carolina Tar Heels. The Lexington, South Carolina standout is high on both teams, but N.C. State is the only team of his supposed “leans” to have offered him thus far.

Taylor is also high on the in-state power South Carolina Gamecocks, the Tennessee Volunteers, a third SEC school in Ole Miss, and another North Carolina school in the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. However, Coastal Carolina and the N.C. State Wolfpack are the only two schools to have offered him. The Virginia Tech Hokies have also been recruiting Taylor, and Duke, Clemson, East Carolina, and Georgia Tech are other programs with interest.

A 6’5″, 330 pound left tackle for White Knoll High, Christian Taylor should be receiving some major offers shortly and has a chance to impress at Chapel Hill. Meanwhile, the Wolfpack have a chance to impress their coveted tackle recruit in Raleigh, so this is a junior day visit that could potentially put N.C. State out in front early on.

The three-star prospect is one of the top 25 recruits in the state of South Carolina, and Taylor has visited the Gamecocks four times during his recruitment since the fall. He has also taken unofficial visits to Clemson and N.C. State in the past, and the Pack actually offered Taylor on his unofficial trip to Raleigh back in late April. Taylor attended junior day early this month with Ole Miss, and he is expected to reel in some key offers shortly.
