The No. 7 prospect in the 2014 football recruiting class is ready to further his recruiting process. Quin Blanding has announced that he will announced his college decision next Wednesday.

His list is down to ten schools and in just a week, only one will remain. Florida State, Virginia, North Carolina, Ohio State, Notre Dame, West Virginia, Miami, Clemson, N.C. State, and Michigan are those remaining.

Blanding is a five star safety from Virginia Beach, Virginia and is said to be leaning heavily towards committing to the University of Virginia next week.

He is 6’2″, 200 poounds and the absolute best safety in the 2014 recruiting class. He is athletic and fast and will run down the ball without any hesitation.

He recorded 111 tackles last season and intercepted the ball five times. Offensively he had 1,000 yards receiving and 12 touchdowns.

Blanding wants everyone to know that when he decides on a school, he is making a choice for himself and nobody else. He is pursuing a great college football career, but wants an excellent education as well.

Earlier this month, Blanding was named an All American first team member by 247Sports.com, an honor that he will more than likely carry where ever he goes and earn conference honors.
