Most recently the San Antonio Spurs have entered the sweepstakes for JJ Redick’s services.

Redick is having the best season of his professional career with 15.2 points per game and 4.4 assists per game and is continuing to show how dangerous he is from three point territory. The Spurs currently rank in the top-5 in the NBA for three point percentage and Redick would only help the Spurs out, shooting 39.3 percent this season.

The Memphis Grizzlies are in need of a shooter and Redick again fits that profile. The Grizzlies have thrown Redick’s name around in the rumor mill. They’re also wanting to make some room for Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol to make plays and score.

The Milwaukee Bucks have been in hot pursuit of Josh Smith, but also have floated the idea of trading for Redick.

Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports wrote that the Philadelphia 76ers could get into the Redick sweepstakes too. Redick has ties to coach Doug Collins who is the father of his friend and former coach at Duke, Chris Collins.
