Four-star defensive tackle Sam Mustipher is being recruited by some big name schools. However, that doesn’t mean North Carolina isn’t out of the question to land him. In fact, Mustipher is wanting to come visit the campus soon and hopes to be invited to attend Junior Day in Chapel Hill.

Musitpher just attended a visit in Maryland is was very impressed. He felt the fans were very loyal and welcoming to him and said it felt like a true place to play football.

He has a long outstanding list of offers from 20+ schools, but his eyes are currently set on: Notre Dame, Ohio State, Clemson, Florida, and Florida State.

Chapel Hill is just one of the places Mustipher would like to re-visit. Clemson, Northwestern, Michigan, Ohio State, Notre Dame and Maryland were also mentioned as campuses he would like to revisit.

It’s very early on in his recruiting process and with the high volume of offers already received, this could be a recruitment process that will last from now until National Signing Day next year when Mustipher makes his final decision.
