The North Carolina State Wolfpack landed their third commitment in three days in the 2013 class, and they were able to flip a Georgia wide receiver from another ACC school to pick up their 22nd commit in the class overall. Lovejoy High three-star wideout JuMichael Ramos was committed to the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets since November, but he suddenly turned things around and committed to N.C. State yesterday.

The Wolfpack were viewed as a team that could potentially flip Ramos, but I wasn’t going to believe it until I saw it. It just didn’t seem like Ramos would suddenly leave Georgia Tech, but that’s exactly what happened yesterday.

Ramos gives N.C. State one of the best 200 wide receivers in the 2013 class, and he is also ranked by most publications as one of the top 125 recruits in the talent-rich state of Georgia. The 6’3″, 190 pound wide receiver was also offered by USF and Florida Atlantic.

N.C. State now has three commits at the wide receiver position in the 2013 class, and Ramos is the second best one behind headlining three-star Fayetteville Jack Britt standout Jalen McDaniel. The Wolfpack have the ninth-best rated class in the ACC, and they are ranked 58th in the nation as a whole. They are still in the running for three-star Lakewood High standout Marquez Valdes and are viewed as the team to beat in his recruitment by most analysts.
