High-end three-star 2014 outside linebacker Bryson Allen-Williams has become a hot commodity, and the Cedar Grove High standout received yet another major offer. This time, Allen-Williams received an offer from the Oregon Ducks. One of the better recruits in the state of Georgia, Allen-Williams is attending South Carolina’s junior day this weekend and will be traveling to the west coast for UCLA’s junior day next weekend.

The North Carolina Tar Heels are heavily in the mix for the services of Bryson Allen-Williams, who is easily one of the 40 best outside linebackers in the country and could very well end up being ranked as one of the top 250 prospects in the nation. He certainly has the offers to prove it, and the South Carolina Gamecocks are the favorites to land him.

The Florida Gators, Alabama Crimson Tide, UCLA Bruins, USC Trojans, and Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets are also top landing spots for the talented Cedar Grove High standout. Another in-state team, the Georgia Bulldogs, are viewed as a team in the mix, but they have not offered yet. It will be interesting to see when the storied Georgia program offers Allen-Williams- if they do at all. It will also be interesting to see where Oregon stacks up.

This latest offer from the Ducks means that it will be that much harder for the Tar Heels to land the talented OLB (he is rated as a four-star by some publications- most namely 247Sports). Schools that have offered Bryson Allen-Williams but do not have a high chance of landing him at this point in time are Clemson, Duke, Maryland, Boise State, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Washington, Penn State, N.C. State, Utah, and Missouri.

Oregon is not expected to be a force in the recruitment of Allen-Williams, but there is still a long way to go. The Ducks are one of the best programs in the nation, so they could easily put themselves into the top group. It’s tough to get a gauge on Georgia’ s interest, but for all intents and purposes they are in the same boat as the schools that have offered him but are not in the mix. Georgia could be one of the favorites if they offered him, but they are irrelevant without an offer.

It is impressive for UNC to be in the mix for Allen-Williams ahead of some solid programs, and it will be interesting to see how many visits he takes to Chapel Hill. Keep your eyes peeled for more updates regarding this supremely talented prospect out of Georgia.
