Trying to prove a huge point in the ACC, Virginia welcomed the North Carolina State Wolfpack fresh off their victory against North Carolina on Saturday in Raleigh.

The first half was all North Carolina State, but during halftime it was determined that Lorenzo Brown would not play in the second half at all via an ankle injury. The Virginia comeback could very well have proved the important of Brown’s presence on the court.

CJ Leslie played tonight despite being under the weather. He would put up twenty points and twelve rebounds.

TJ Warren played some solid defense including three steals and a block.

Virginia’s offense was lead by Joe Harris who scored 22 points and was a key factor in the final out come of their victory over the Wolfpack.

Akil Mitchell put up fourteen points and twelve rebounds to also contribute to the Cavaliers.

After the loss to Virginia, this marks the ninth time that North Carolina State has beaten the North Carolina Tar Heels and lost its next ACC game. (ESPN Stats & Information).

The Wolfpack will host the undefeated (in ACC play) and red hot Miami Hurricanes in Raleigh on Saturday!
