Larry Fedora has just wrapped up his first season at North Carolina with a 8-4 record that easily could have been 11-1 had it not been for sloppy plays that cost them the games by just a few points.

Now his second season is beginning to take shape as his opponents for next season have been announced.

The Tar Heels will open the season at South Carolina to play the Gamecocks.

The other non-conference opponents will be Middle Tennessee State, East Carolina and Old Dominion.

As for ACC conference play the Tar Heels will host Boston College, Duke, Miami and Virginia at Kenan Memorial Stadium.

They will travel to Georgia Tech, NC State, Pittsburgh and Virginia Tech.

Dates and times will be composed in the coming months, but for now, Fedora can begin prepping for his opponents.

With thirteen starters returning (including Bryn Renner) and many new talented recruits coming in (including offensive tackle RJ Prince), Fedora and North Carolina look to improve on their 2012 efforts including a return to a bowl game now that their one year suspension from post season play is over.
