The Michigan Wolverines offered a 2014 four-star lineman who can play at either guard or defensive tackle in Sam Mustipher, and it is Mustipher’s second major offer of the month. Earlier in December, the Florida Gators extended an offer to the 6’4″, 285 pound Maryland prospect.

The North Carolina State Wolfpack are targeting Mustipher as well, as they have also offered the DT/OG. Clemson, Maryland, Illinois, Ohio State, West Virginia, Tulane, Rutgers, Penn State, and Pittsburgh have also offered the elite prospect.

Sam Mustipher is a standout for Good Counsel in Olney, Maryland, and he is arguably one of the best five recruits in the state. Expected to play at guard in college, Mustipher is on the cusp of a top ten ranking at the position and is clearly one of the best 250 recruits in the 2014 class at this juncture.

In the fall, Mustipher took a couple of visits to West Virginia and also had an unofficial trip to his in-state suitor Maryland. Over the summer, he also took a trip down south to check out the Miami Hurricanes program. The Canes, North Carolina Tar Heels, and Notre Dame are three major programs to have shown interest in Mustipher but have not offered yet.
